| NS-2 GTS extension to support real-time frame transmissions on simulated IEEE 802.15.4 wireless networks |
This extension provides the support for using guaranteed time slots (GTS) to transmit frames on simulated IEEE 802.15.4 wireless networks, through the IEEE 802.15.4 NS-2 module. Other management operations were also added to the IEEE 802.15.4 NS-2 module, augmenting the compliance of this module with the IEEE 802.15.4 standard. |

| NS-2 fault injector and timeliness evaluation module |
This module provides a fault injector and a timeliness evaluation component to be integrated in the NS-2. The fault injector allows the introduction of faults within networking communications, enabling the evaluation of simulated networks under error conditions. The timeliness evaluation component measures the temporal behaviour of the MAC sublayer, while the network is operating under such error conditions caused by the fault injector. |
