Mattias WALLANDER, Volvo Group Trucks Technology, Advanced Technology and Research holds a position as director for Software systems within the technology area Electrical & embedded systems and responsible for the research and advanced engineering in this domain. He has more than 15 years of experience from product development and advanced engineering within the fields of embedded SW and vehicle electronics system design for cars, trucks, busses and construction equipment and he holds a M.Sc in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers university of technology, Gothenburg, Sweden.

Alberto MELZI, CRF (Centro Ricerche FIAT), is a Project Manager within the Vehicle Research and Technologies business line of CRF, managing European and National projects encompassing various fields from the technologies related to sustainable mobility and alternative propulsion systems until to the functional safety methodologies for automotive safety critical systems.

Juergen LEOHOLD, Volkswagen, is the executive director for research of Volkswagen.

Jean-Paul DOMERGUE, EADS Innovation Works, is in charge of developing innovation and R&T partnership with Latin America countries for IW Board, in addition of the Head of Operations function concerning Innovative Concept & Scenarios.

José VERMELHUDO, NAV Portugal EPE, Head of Software Production Department, Graduated in Computers and Electronics Engineering, from the Technical University of Lisbon in 1991. He further specialized in Software Development and on Project Management. Since 1996 he works in the Air Traffic Control business, specializing on radar surveillance as well as on the ATM core processing systems. ATM experience was improved with other specialized training courses on Safety and Quality subjects complemented with the enrolment on international projects like SESAR WP2.5.4 (on the definition phase) as well as the participation at Link2000+, FASTI and other Eurocontrol programs. Together with the responsibility to run the Software Production department, he is also involved on several projects as Project Manager for the developing of new functionalities on the ATM systems at NAV Portugal.
